El'Sprite Fayette Tonkinese Cats
Located in a modest home in western suburbs of Sydney, NSW, Australia El'Sprite kennels and cattery breed on a small scale ensuring quality and consistency. We started 15 years ago successfully breeding Mini Foxie dogs. Since then the name "El'Sprite" has been attached to miniature horses, mini foxies, Tenterfield Terriers and now, Tonkinese cats.
Over the years things have changed as we no longer breed equines, Mini Foxies where recognised as "Teneterfield Terriers" and we have found the love of felines.
"The Tonkinese cat was originally the result of a Siamese to Burmese mating. The ideal Tonkinese is intermediate in type, being neither cobby nor svelte. Medium sized, it is an alert active cat with good muscular development, heavier than it looks. Males are generally larger than females." Qoted from the CCCA Standard of Excellence.The Tonkinese cat come in 4 recognised colours, brown, blue, chocolate & lilac and 3 patterns, point, mink & solid. Eye colour changes with the coat pattern, beautiful blue in points, striking aquamarine on minks and stunning chartuse on solids.

The Tenterfield Terrier started as a Miniature Fox Terrier and changed their name to gain recognition with ANKC. "Predominantly white with black, liver and/or tan markings in its various tones. Tri colouring is common (i.e. white with black markings and tan cheeks and/or tan above eyes and/or tan breeches). Brindle markings acceptable but not preferred. Full colour coats are not acceptable. Skin should always be pigmented."
Registered with either " NSW Cat Fanciers Association " or "Dogs NSW" El'Sprite babies come microchipped, vaccinated & vet check. Desexing can be arranged before heading off to their new homes.
